CBER publishes its annual short-term forecast for the Alabama economy as the Alabama Economic Outlook. The 2023 Alabama Economic Outlook focuses on the 2023 United States and Alabama Forecast as well as a Review of the 2022 economy. The forecast covers output and employment by sector as well as current economic conditions and trends and their likely effects on the national and Alabama economies. The publication also includes the latest data, investment highlights, and forecasts for the state’s twelve metropolitan areas, in article form and summary tables.
